What about the idea of using deception in research. How does that line-up with a Christian Worldview? There are very few areas that utilize deception other than Social Psychology. For social psychologists, deception is used all the time. Before the research is approved to go forward, the researcher needs to prove to the Institutional Review Board (IRB), that there is sufficient benefit to the research, which outweighs this breach of integrity.
