From the beginning of man, the question has been asked of what turns men evil. Are some people just born evil or does something happen and makes them evil? In the Bhagaved-Gita this question is asked as well. When the question was asked about what pushes someone on an evil path? Krishana replied “Kama it is! Passion it is! born of the darkness’s, which pusheth him. (3) in many story’s passion or love pushes people to do evil things. Even today passion and love cause people to do some of the evilest things possible. When looking at Sura how someone should take what it says and how it can be implemented in life there are many lessons. When looking at any religious texts people need to what should be taken literally and what should be taken figuratively. Most would agree that when a religious text takes about love these things should be taken literally but when parts of these texts take about demands or evil it should be taken figuratively. When looking at both texts and what they say about god we can find many similarities. For example, in The Bhagavads Gita it is written “Equally loving all that lives, loves wellMe, Who have made them, and attains to Me.” (18) and in the Holy Qur’an it is written “How can ye reject, The faith in God?—Seeing that ye were without life, And He gave you life, Then will He cause you to die, And will again bring you to life; And again to Him will ye return.(Section 2, 28.) both of these texts are talking about love and love the creator, or God. When we look at both writings they talk about this but in Sura it speaks a lot more about being servant to god and the reward of doing so.respond to this discussion question in 100 words
