This week we very briefly discussed Fiedler’s Contingency Theory of Leadership (CTL). Although some aspects of this theory remain supported through research, some have not. In reference to social psychology, this week I’d like you to explore how CTL applies to your specific workplace. In other words, take me through several scenarios that you have personally witnessed (or been apart of) and analyze them based on CTL. Do you feel the appropriate leadership style was used?
