What are the most effective modifications that could be made to modify a zero transfer or negative transfer situation to increase one or more of the factors that are known to increase positive transfer? Why do you believe these will be effective?

Is practice variability important for skill learning and learning transfer? Why or why not? Does your opinion differ for a closed skill and an open loop skill? Why or why not?
