Abstract

Begin your paper here. This is your abstract page. It stands alone. It is not an introduction. An introduction is a part of your paper. An abstract is an overview of your paper. It tells the reader what you, the researcher did. It gives the purpose of the paper. An introduction begins your paper. You want to engage your reader.

You do not need a heading. All papers should have an introduction, body and conclusion. Every start of a new paragraph must be indented. Every paragraph must have a minimum of four sentences. Utilize commas, periods, proper punctuation. Avoid run-on sentences. Be sure to include details. Be sure to create an outline before writing your paper to ensure you have the proper structure. Re-read your paper multiple times to catch errors. Edit yourself before submitting. NO CONTRACTIONS WHATSOEVER!!

Always format your paper: Times New Roman, 12 font, double spaced. Remember the length of your paper. Make sure it meets the requirements.
