What is your definition of conscientiousness? How might this trait be helpful in the working world or even as a therapist/clinician? The way I think of it is planning, preparing, being mindful, attuned to what needs to be done and that old saying “cross all your T’s and dot all your i’s”. Is there every a time, you think, that being conscientious might not serve someone well? I would suspect that employers might find this to be a highly valued trait, what are your thoughts on it? Are there certain behaviors you might observe in someone that is conscientious? Is it possible to be “overly” conscientious?what is your definition of conscientiousness?
