Based on the article and your own experiences, answer the following questions:

Reflect on the coaches, teachers, and/or mentors who have influenced your career choice. How did they impact your ethical development as a person and as a competitor?

List the specific qualities these individuals have in common. How did they communicate these ideals to you? How did they handle tough and challenging situations?
