The two sons age 32 and 27 the 32 year old is sober for 30 days and the 27 year old is active heroin user. The father died from an overdose in the home. The approach has been used as strategic but the youngest son stopped coming to group because of his using drugs. The mother is co dependent and lets the sons have the bedrooms and she sleeps on the couch the older son is resentful towards the youngest son for still using but does not want to abandon his mom or brother.
